The house was built in 1883 and is one of the oldest structures in Cape Girardeau. Some of the original structures date back to the 1800s, when the town was booming with manufacturing and agriculture. Currently, the Glenn House is owned by the local historical association. The home is known for its interesting architecture, antique furnishings, fashion collections, and artifacts.
