It’s like a trip back in time to Granny’s house…. “Come on in hun, have you had lunch?” A bit of a time capsule, but solid little place… “Would you like me to fix you a sandwich?” No thanks, I’m just showing the house to my friend… “The grandkids are here today – go on now, you kids are either in or out!” It’s got a big yard for sure, we’d play outside for hours… “I can warm you up some soup?” Somehow it escaped the paneling era, but I swear Archie Bunker installed this carpet!… “Would you like a piece of pie?” If the antique stove hadn’t moved to the basement you’d wonder if it’d ever seen an update…”My shows are on, would you like a cookie?” But if you study it a little harder you’ll see bathroom updates, high-efficiency HVAC… “Close the door, you’re lettin’ the air out!” …it’s vinyl sided… “How about a glass of tea?” …and there’s a newer water heater and septic system. “I told you kids to keep your little butts in the yard, now go cut me a switch!” Ahh the days.
